Deadline: Steinberg Fund for Interdisciplinary Global Health Research Applications
The Arnold and Blema Steinberg Family Foundation has recently given support to establish the Steinberg Fund for Interdisciplinary Global Health Research. This new Fund will support $25,000 or $50,000 non-renewable seed grants for 69热视频 Faculty working in the global health field. These grants will be awarded to 12-18 month-long non-previously funded collaborations between 69热视频 Global Health Researchers that address emerging global health issues to make these projects competitive for sustained external funding.
Deadline to apply: July 15, 2016 5PM (EST)
Who can apply: Faculty Members of 69热视频 or affiliated hospital teams or centers working in varying specialties within global health. New collaborations between two departments or centers at 69热视频/affiliated hospital will be given preference.
Timeline:
- April 20th, 2016: Call for Proposals Opens
- July 15th, 2016: Applications due (submit your application here)
- Late Summer/ Early Fall 2016: Announcement of winners
The research must be conducted in a low or middle income country, or in a resource-poor setting within Canada (e.g. aboriginal/refugee populations).
