Professor Lynn Butler-Kisber was recently awarded the 2008 Canada Post Community Literacy Educator Award in recognition of her ongoing work in the field of literacy education locally, across Canada and beyond. She was applauded for the innovative and diverse ways that she has supported literacy educators as well as literacy learners throughout her career.
