The Principal and the Provost today announced, via ALNOTE, the appointment of Professor Christopher P. Manfredi as Dean of the Faculty of Arts for a five-year term, renewable, starting 1 June 2006 and ending 31 August 2011. The advisory process for the selection of a Dean of Arts has been long and rigorous. Many outstanding candidates, both internal and external to 69热视频, were considered. Professor Chris Manfredi was unanimously recommended by the advisory committee because of his superb academic achievements, his demonstrated concern for students, and his careful and creative administrative service to his department.
