Keesha Ness鈥檚 family certainly knows farming 鈥 they鈥檝e been doing it for nearly 100 years and plan to celebrate when they reach that milestone next summer.

Ness is passionate about farming, loves her cows, and plans to follow the family鈥檚 tradition.

鈥淚鈥檓 definitely hoping to help out with the management side,鈥 says Ness of her family鈥檚 Ayrshire dairy farm in Howick, Quebec.

Canadian research is part of an extensive global climate change study that has found billions of the world鈥檚 poorest people are at risk.

The results, published Thursday in the journal Science, raise troubling questions about who will be able to adapt in a shifting, less dependable world.
