BCom students make it to the finals at the Marshall International Case Competition 2013

A 69ÈÈÊÓƵ Desautels case team made it to the finals at the Marshall International Case Competition (MICC) hosted by the University of Southern California (USC). This team of four BCom students, composed of Alexia Belisle, Frederick Dubé Fortier, Simon Hudson and Charlotte Lucas, placed top 6 out of 30 competing universities at this year’s competition which took place from February 12 to 17, 2013.

All had taken Richard Donovan's "Case Analysis and Presentation" class. Prof. Donovan also acted as their adviser and accompanied the team to Los Angeles.

Congratulations to Alexia, Frederick, Simon and Charlotte for a truly exceptional performance!

The MICC hosted by USC, now in its’ 15th year, is one of the largest undergraduate case competitions with 30 teams competing. This year’s case client was Owens and Minor Inc., a leading distributor of medical and surgical supplies to the acute-care market and a leading provider of healthcare supply chain management solutions.
