A landmark gift recognizes the value of visual arts
Leslie Raenden (BCom鈥86, DPA鈥87), stepdaughter of the late Peter N. Thomson, a financial investor and co-founder of the Power Corporation of Canada, has made a $5.6-million gift to support Concordia鈥檚 Fine Arts Department and its emerging artists.
Raenden has made the gift to fulfill Thomson鈥檚 last wishes to support deserving artists and their creative endeavours.

Alumnus recognized for decades of community impact

Indigo Books, Canada's largest book, gift and specialty toy retailer, has announced the appointment of Craig Loudon (BCom鈥94) as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective February 5, 2019.
In accepting his new role, Mr. Loudon leaves his previous position as Indigo's Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer.
