Microinterventions in the Workplace

As we get better at recognizing microaggressions in the workplace, the next step is learning how to respond when they arise. If you are interested in developing your skills at microintervening, the term used when we engage these difficult moments for positive change, this workshop is for you.聽
By attending this workshop, participants will be able to:聽
- Examine the term microintervention and the different forms it can take聽
- Explain the benefits of microinterventions on employee/team wellbeing from different perspectives and roles聽聽
- Identify and practice applying microintervention strategies for responding to microaggressions聽
Please note: This workshop is designed as part of a series. Part 1 is Microaggressions in the Workplace and Part 2 is Microinterventions in the Workplace. We strongly recommend that participants complete Part 1 prior to participating in Part 2.
