On February 14 , smoked salmon and bagels, donuts and chocolates were on the menu at the Department's Valentine's Day Breakfast, along with plenty of love and staff appreciation.
The event was comprised of administrative staff, professors, and graduate students and everyone who attended read messages of appreciation that had been left in a heart-shaped box in the previous weeks.听
It was heartwarming to hear all the messages that everyone had written and it was clear to see that love was all around!

Thank you to the Department's Wellness Committee (Andrea Zdyb, Ruotong Wang and Maxime Pirenne) for organizing these events which aim to create an atmosphere of camaraderie amongst colleagues.
The next event will be a lunch and learn where we will hear from our Associate Director of Administration, Kennedy Kanyang'onda, talk to us about pension plans.
