Nadia O鈥橞rien is a PhD candidate in the Department of Family Medicine at 69热视频. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Simon Fraser University and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Toronto. Her doctoral research engaged patients and healthcare providers in describing gaps in care and co-designing recommendations to improve the comprehensive primary care of women living with HIV in Canada.
This presentation is a follow-up to her PhD defense from November 25th 2019, and will focus more closely on the participatory approach of her research. This will be an informal presentation discussing the advantages, as well as challenges, of adopting this approach, with particular considerations for graduate research projects.
