Seminar: CIET-PRAM hosts Germ谩n Zuluaga, who will speak on Intercultural Health Research
CIET-PRAM will be hosting聽Germ谩n Zuluaga, a Colombian physician, epidemiologist and director of the Center for Intercultural Health Studies (bio below) for 3 weeks in April/May.聽
Germ谩n will present on聽Intercultural Health Research on聽May 1听蹿谤辞尘听12:00-1:30聽at the Department of Family Medicine 3rd聽floor, 5858 Cotes-des-Neiges. Lunch will be provided at the meeting. Please RSVP to 514-399-9138.

Germ谩n Zuluaga is a Colombian physician and epidemiologist based at the Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, where he directs the Centre for Intercultural Health Studies (CEMI). 聽His professional practice over two decades has included dialogue with and studies under the guidance of traditional healers, building a bridge between their science and Western sciences. After completing his medical education, he studied ecology, anthropology and ethnobotany. He has published a dozen books on the application of these disciplines to intercultural health research.
