This afternoon, 69热视频鈥檚 Senate voted in聽favour聽of extending the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (or 鈥淪/U鈥�) option for the current academic year. According to the terms of the extension:聽
- students may take up to a total of 6 credits over the two terms to be graded as S/U under this Additional S/U聽Option;聽聽
- these credits may be associated with elective, complementary, or required聽courses;聽
- credits designated as S/U under this Additional S/U Option do not count toward the maximum specified by the existing S/U option (10% of the credits taken at 69热视频 to fulfil the degree requirements); and聽
- students will be able to choose this S/U option after grades are posted鈥攆or the current Fall term, this means selection can be done in early January; for the Winter term, selection will be in early May.聽聽
The S/U extension applies to the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 terms, where permitted by Faculty regulations and program requirements.聽Details can be found in the聽Motion Regarding Additional Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) Option for Fall 2020 and Winter 2021.聽Thank you to the student associations who led the initiative toward this proposal.聽We will provide further updates in upcoming messages to the community.聽

- les聽茅tudiants seront autoris茅s 脿 exercer l鈥檕ption de notation聽satisfaisant/insatisfaisant聽pour un total de six cr茅dits pour les deux sessions;聽聽
- ces聽cr茅dits pourront 锚tre associ茅s 脿 des cours au choix, compl茅mentaires ou obligatoires;聽
- les聽cr茅dits聽pour lesquels cette nouvelle option de notation聽satisfaisant/insatisfaisant聽sera exerc茅e ne seront pas pris en compte dans le nombre maximal de cr茅dits qu鈥檜n 茅tudiant peut d茅signer comme聽satisfaisant/insatisfaisant聽selon l鈥檕ption actuelle (soit 10聽% du nombre total de cr茅dits accumul茅s 脿 69热视频 pour l鈥檕btention d鈥檜n dipl么me);聽
- 聽les聽茅tudiants pourront exercer l鈥檕ption聽satisfaisant/insatisfaisant聽une fois que les聽notes auront 茅t茅 publi茅es. Pour la session d鈥檃utomne en cours, les 茅tudiants pourront faire leur choix au d茅but de janvier. Le choix se fera au d茅but de mai pour la session d鈥檋iver.聽
La prolongation de la possibilit茅 d鈥檈xercer l鈥檕ption de notation聽satisfaisant/insatisfaisant聽a trait aux sessions d鈥檃utomne聽2020 et d鈥檋iver聽2021, conform茅ment aux r猫glements et aux exigences de chaque facult茅.
