Professor Raymond Klibansky (1995-2005) - philosopher, historian and activist for tolerance and dialogue 鈥� was a member of 69热视频鈥檚 Department of Philosophy from 1946 to 1976 and a central figure in 20th century philosophy. His library is now in McLennan Library鈥檚 Rare Books and Special Collections.

A refugee from Nazi Germany, who served with the British Political Warfare Executive during World War II,Klibansky was involved in post-war pacifism and denazification programs.

Peter Feldstein, BA鈥�84, a recipient of Canada鈥檚 highest literary award for translation, will speak on the challenges of translating 鈥淟e Philosophe et la M茅moire du si猫cle, Entretiens avec Georges Leroux鈥� (2000).
