Langue et litt茅rature asiatiques : The study of the Chinese-language action film, with an emphasis on Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan cinemas. Topics will include: the historical development of martial arts film, the relation between traditional Chinese art forms and action film, and the formation of transnational cinemas and audiences.
