Stipends for 69热视频 Students

Students can benefit from funding during their rural rotations. Eligible trainees can receive stipends for transportation, lodging and living expenses.

General Requirements

In order to receive the stipends listed below, the rotation must meet all of the following requirements:

  • The student听must live within the region for the听entire听rotation. Otherwise, the trainee will not be eligible for听any听蝉迟颈辫别苍诲蝉.
  • The rotation must be a minimum duration of听3 weeks.
  • The rotation site must be at located at least 50km away from the student's home campus听in either Montreal or Gatineau听(exact distance is calculated using听).

Transportation

Students are entitled to funding for 1 round-trip, and will benefit from either:

  • $0.595 per kilometre traveled, or;
  • The price of a purchased bus or train ticket (receipt required)
  • Plane tickets purchased by a student听do听not qualify听for the transportation stipend. Only flights booked directly by the sites located in听Cree Territory听(Chisasibi, Mistissini, Waskaganish, Waswanipi, Whapmagoostui)听and听Nunavik听(Kuujjuaq, Puvirnituq)听are accepted.

Living Expenses

Students will receive funding for living expenses while doing their rural rotation:

  • $56.25 per week of rotation, with a maximum of $225 allocated per period

Lodging

Funding for lodging is typically allocated directly to the site's establishment, as they will provide lodging to students. In the event that the site cannot provide lodging, the student will receive $180.00 per week (or $720 per 4-week period) to cover lodging expenses. Proof of a housing reservation within the region is required to receive this stipend. Lodging that exceeds the $720 allocated amount are at the expense of the student.

If students refuse to stay in the accommodations provided, the site retains the amount to cover its financial commitment (ie. Lease).
