A 0.8 cm defect is evident just below the aortic valve. The proximal ascending aorta is dilated.
History: Unknown.
Comment: The specimen was sent to Maude Abbott in 1907 by Dr Charles Martin, Dean of the 69热视频 Medical Faculty from 1923 to 1936.聽Martin was studying in London when fire ravaged Abbott鈥檚 Medical Museum and managed to acquire many specimens from St Bartholomew's Hospital in an attempt to replenish its stock.
