Islamic Studies : The nature of the law, its origins and historical development, the medieval schools of law, modern evolution of the law, and its roles in Islamic religious and political thought.

Students must register for both ISLA 706D1 and ISLA 706D2
No credit will be given for this course unless both ISLA 706D1 and ISLA 706D2 are successfully completed in consecutive terms
